Position Summary
The Account Executive position reports to the Vice President, Managed Care Sales Operations and is responsible for obtaining, maintaining, and growing currently contracted local, regional and national managed care customers within an assigned geographic territory. The Account Executive shall be responsible for the overall growth, retention and strategic planning of assigned accounts including account relationship management and outreach of target referral sources such as physicians, hospitals and case managers regarding BioScrip services and capabilities. The Account Executive will assume overall responsibility for the assigned book of business and proactively resolve client issues to meet or exceed client expectations.
States: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Ohio, Wisconsin. Candidate should live in the Central Region and will work from a home office. Must be available for travel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
„X Gain new managed care customers within assigned geographic territory.
„X Develop managed care strategy for increase pull-through business from contracted payors in assigned territory including the execution of appropriate field-based managed care marketing activities
„X Negotiate client-specific product mix, pricing and contractual obligations
„X Increase profitability of assigned managed care contracts through service up-sell, re-pricing, or improved client-specific financial operations including invoicing, credits and cash collection
„X Drive promotion of services through sales presentations, clinical presentations, industry shows, associations and provider networking.
„X Lead a matrix team including client services, clinical support and business analyst(s) to engage new business implementation, maintain overall client satisfaction and drive account retention and growth

| Qualifications: |
Qualifications:
„X Education - Bachelor¡¦s Degree or higher; advanced clinical degree (nursing or pharmacy a plus)
„X Minimum five (5) years account management experience managing large, complex healthcare accounts.
„X Minimum five (5) years direct sales experience in infusion or specialty pharmacy services
„X Demonstrated track record and business partnerships, both internally and externally
Knowledge and Skills:
„X Demonstrated experience in signing new managed care customers
„X Ability to prepare sales forecasting reports
„X Proficient in developing sales presentations and proposals.
„X Efficient territory management skills
„X Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
„X Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the principles, procedures and best practices related to this position including a strong knowledge of the principles, terminology and practices of the managed care industry
„X Proficiency in using PC software to support activities, especially Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
„X Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact well at all organizational/employee levels.
„X The ability to work with confidential material and maintain confidentiality.
„X Careful attention to detail
„X Strong analytical skills
„X Excellent verbal and written communication, including group presentation skills
